Tyisha Scott,LPC

Tyisha Scott is a professional counselor who has taught professionally for more than 20 years in the school system of Georgia, for which she’s spent the past 13 years as a professional school counselor. She is a native of Georgia, married and a mother. Her primary focuses are providing honest communication with her patients and quality resources for parents and caregivers. Mrs. Scott lives by a very poignant mantra in life, “The biggest room is the room for improvement.” Mrs. Scott graduated from Cambridge College with a Masters of Education in School Guidance Counseling in 2007. Tyisha has experienced in servicing clients in inpatient and outpatient setting. Mrs. Scott is a Certified Anger Management Specialist, she is trained and certified in youth mental health. She is a proud member of (LPCAGA) Licensed Professional Counselors of Georgia Association and (GSCA) Georgia School Counselors Association. Mrs. Scott’s therapeutic practices are of a cognitive behavioral approach. She believes internal dialogue which often occurs needs to be addressed for progress to be made and goals to be accomplished.
